Spinach in a microwave

Ok, if you’re anything like me, you tend to be a little lazy when it comes to cooking and lick for shortcuts or easy way outs. Most of the time, I just eat what’s around me like bananas. Anyways, I’m a sucker for easy microwave recipes and snacks. So with my braces and all, it’s a bit harder for me to eat lettuce/baby spinach raw, so I usually don’t eat it. I just go for the steamed or cooked vegetables instead because they’re easier to chew. But I can’t help but want more of the delicious spinach.

Spinach is rich in so many nutrients and vitamins and it even could make taller. Now, before this sounds like some sort of ad for the organic spinach brand at Safeway, gotta say that no guarantees promised. All fun aside, let’s get cookie or microwave I should say.

First you’re going to need some baby Spinach and a paper plate.

Then put two or three handfuls of spinach on the paper plate and put it in the microwave from 1:30 mins, time might be more or less depending on the microwave watts.

Once it’s done, take it out and enjoy it with other veggies or put it in a pasta dish of some sort. It might look weird when you first see it done, but trust me it’s delicious and very soft.

It’s easy and delicious for anybody with no time and is always on the go. I’ll also be making recipes with this so link out for that(:
